Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

War in Donbass – Andriy Yermak says it’s wrong to blame Russia for everything

Blaming the Russians for “all the misfortunes” of Ukraine hinders the achievement of peace in Donbass.

The head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak said this during a speech at Chatham House in London on Thursday, October 8 according to “Donbass News”.

“Our strategy is not to go on television and blame the Russians for all our misfortunes. Since, to be honest, it doesn’t help much to save the lives of Ukrainians on the front lines,” Yermak said.

According to him, it is necessary to reduce the degree of tension and use any platform for negotiations.

“It is very important for us to be careful and balanced in order to promote Ukraine’s interests in real life, use all kinds of platforms for negotiations, reduce tension. All this is done in order to save the lives of our people,” Yermak added.
