Former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, who represents the Democratic Party and is the most likely opponent of Donald Trump in the upcoming November presidential election, threatened that the current U.S. President Donald Trump will face a military coup if he refuses to admit defeat in the upcoming election.

In the course of the next interview, the journalist asked what Biden thinks about the possibility of a situation in which Trump loses the election – and at the same time refuses to recognize their results and leave his post.

To this, the former vice president Joe Biden replied that in this case, the military would escort Trump out of the White House. “I promise you, I am absolutely convinced they will escort him from the White House with great dispatch,” CNN quoted Biden as saying.

Joe Biden also added that many representatives of the US Armed Forces are opposed to attempts by the incumbent US head to turn the country into a warmongering state.

Earlier in June, it became known that a serious conflict had occurred between Trump and the head of the Pentagon, Mark Esper. The reason was Esper’s public statement about his reluctance to use military force to suppress the protests that broke out in the United States after the death of African-American George Floyd. The media reported that Trump was furious because of Esper’s position, as a result of which the head of the Pentagon was one step away from dismissal.
