US presidential candidate Joe Biden is ahead of his Republican rival Donald Trump. in key states, however, the gap between the rivals practically corresponds to the error, according to the data of recent opinion polls, the results of which were published before the start of voting in the United States.
A new poll CNBC and Change Research at six states shows that 50% are ready to vote for Biden there, against 46%, who supported Trump.
Biden also leads each of the faltering states:
- Arizona: Biden 50%, Trump 47%
- Florida: Biden 51%, Trump 48%
- Michigan: Biden 51%, Trump 44%
- North Carolina: Biden 49%, Trump 47%

Historically, in the United States, all candidates with an approval rating of 50% and above won re-election, while presidents with an approval rating well below 50% lost.
