“Israel Today” newspaper said that Tel Aviv will participate, on Thursday, in the “Expo” that will be held in the Emirate of Dubai.

She pointed out that this is the first time that Israel participates in an event of this large size, in an Arab country.

Israel had participated in the Expo 2015 in Milan, Italy.

The newspaper pointed out that the Israeli pavilion at the exhibition was designed as an open pavilion, simulating a “Middle Eastern tent in the traditions of hospitality.”

She added that the Israeli designers presented the “Middle Eastern Tent” model, to give the impression that the common factors are greater than the differences, especially as it is the visitors’ first direct encounter with Israel.

Today, Thursday, the “Expo” exhibition in Dubai, which is considered the largest in the world, will start.

The exhibition will continue until the end of March 2022.

The international exhibition is held every five years for a period of 6 months, the last of which was in 2015 in Milan, Italy.

He has been traveling between cities and countries since the mid-nineteenth century, during which each country presents its technological, scientific, agricultural and cultural achievements.

This year’s exhibition was scheduled to be held in Dubai a year ago, but was postponed due to the Corona pandemic.

Expo is the third largest event at the international level after the Olympics and the World Cup.

The exhibition attracts millions of visitors from all over the world.

The organizers of the exhibition expressed their hope that the number of visitors would reach 25 million in the period from next October to March 2022.

About 22 million people visited the Expo in Milan.

In mid-September, Israel and the UAE signed an agreement to normalize relations between them, under the auspices of US President Donald Trump.
