British Prime Minister Boris Johnson (Johnson) found himself in a new problem with the resignation of ministers who said he was not fit to govern, and an increasing number of MPs called on him to resign, writes Reuters .
Despite increasingly frequent calls for Johnson to resign, he showed his determination to stay in office by appointing businessman and education minister Nadhim Zahawi as the new finance minister and Steve Barclay as health minister, filling some other vacancies.

The level of hostility Johnson faces within his own party will be on display today when he appears in parliament for a weekly session and before select committee chairs for a planned two-hour questioning.
