At least three launchers were seen at Warsaw Bemowo Airport.
Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak recently tweeted that the transfer of the complexes from the Sochaczew base in central Poland to Warsaw is an “important element in the preparation” of the 3rd Warsaw Missile Brigade .
Patriot air defense systems are part of Poland’s multi-billion dollar arms purchases from the United States, South Korea and other countries.
Poland also received Patriot systems from Germany to bolster its air defenses in the east of the country, where stray missiles from Ukraine landed last year, killing two civilians.
