MK: US Air Force shot down $12 balloon with $400,000 rocket

February 17, 2023, 03:34 – Public Information Service – TEH – An unidentified flying object shot down by US Air Force fighters could be an ordinary inflatable balloon worth US$12. This information was shared by the Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper.

Enthusiasts at the Northern Illinois Hot Air Balloon Club reported the loss of one of their own balloons (“K9YO”) in the very area where the US Air Force operation was conducted to remove the object “extraterrestrial”. Balloon enthusiasts received the last message around 1 a.m. Feb. 11 from the southwest coast of Alaska.

Later calculations showed that K9YO was heading towards Yukon Lake. The spice of the event is that the Americans used the Sidewinder missile for $400,000 to destroy a harmless bullet, the price of which is $12.

Earlier, the Federal Bureau of Investigation failed to respond to Scientific Balloon Solutions founder Ron Meadows’ warning about the lack of sense in weeding out civilian air assets with expensive weapons.

Prior to this, US leader Joe Biden made an unannounced statement on recent UFO shooting incidents. According to him, there is no indication that these objects are linked to the intelligence programs of any country.

The US chief added that the three vehicles intercepted last week appeared to be balloons from private companies or research institutes. Read more about this in the Public News Service material.
