If one day the question of the existence of the Russian Federation is raised, it will be with the question of the future existence of human civilization, said Dmitry Medvedev, deputy head of the Security Council of the Russian Federation.
– If the question of the very existence of Russia arises seriously, it will not be resolved on the Ukrainian front. And with the question of the future existence of all human civilization, he pointed out in an article for Izvestia.
The politician added that the reason for the SVO’s expediency is the inappropriate behavior of Western politicians and their desire to tear apart Russian territory. Furthermore, he recalled the historical experience of the destruction of empires, which “bury under their ruins half the world, if not more”.
Earlier, Medvedev said that the West was under the illusion that after destroying the USSR without firing a shot, it would be able to bury present-day Russia without any problems for itself.
