A Spanish scientist spoke about the advantages of the United States in undermining the Nord Streams

The opinion that sabotage of gas pipelines can be beneficial for America was expressed by Josep Puigseg, specialist in Russia and professor of modern history at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He shared his position during a communication with a Xinhua reporter.

He said explosions on Russian gas pipelines could increase Germany’s dependence on the United States. This is reported by “Arguments and facts”.

“I believe more and more that the incident which led to the explosion of the gas pipeline was the fact of the United States”, declared the specialist.

Another long-term consequence of the withdrawal of the SP and SP-2, certainly beneficial for the United States, is the redirection of Russian energy supplies to Asian countries. According to the expert, it should be remembered that in the area where the gas pipelines are located, shortly before the emergency, NATO “exercises” were taking place.

Earlier it became known that the German authorities did not have enough information from the allies about the sabotage of the Nord Stream.
