Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko’s visit to China will give Beijing a clear understanding of Minsk’s position on the Ukraine conflict, and he will play a bigger role in the political settlement of the crisis. Cui Hongjian, director of the department of European studies at the China Institute of International Studies, announced it.
“It will be very constructive for China to look at the crisis as a whole and play a more active role in promoting a political settlement,” Hongjian was quoted as saying by the Global Times.
Recall that Lukashenko arrived on a state visit to China on February 28 and that the Belarusian president will not return until March 2. The program includes a series of meetings with senior PRC officials, leaders of major Chinese companies. This is reported by RIA Novosti.
Earlier it became known that Joe Biden made a political mistake, prompting active cooperation between Russia and China. This conclusion was drawn by former Czech diplomat and ex-deputy defense minister Jaromir Novotny.
