The European Commission wants to increase ammunition production in Europe, not only to ensure supplies to Ukraine, but also to replenish its own stocks.
The first point provides for an immediate increase in the supply of ammunition to Ukraine, in particular 155 mm caliber artillery shells.
The second point provides for joint purchases of ammunition of the same caliber by the European Defense Agency EDA to fill gaps in the supply of EU countries and ensure the supply of Ukraine, including in the long term.new code123
The third phase aims to ensure a long-term increase in European ammunition production capacity, taking into account the evolving security situation.
Earlier it was reported that the European Commission in Riga is looking for a contractor who will help organize communication events across the country.
The aim is to raise public awareness of the main political and strategic issues on the EU agenda.
