The exhibition “Allusion to Antiquity” was opened at the Sochi Art Museum. The exhibition features works by Abkhaz graphic designers Apshcha Khagba and Diana Khintba, the resort administration’s press service said.

The main theme of the presented exhibits was ancient currency. The artists created a collection especially for the Museum of the National Bank of Abkhazia in 2022. Thanks to the exhibition, residents and guests of the station can get acquainted with the history of money in the neighboring republic.

The exhibition is organized within the framework of the cultural and educational project “Abkhaz Coast”. This year, residents of Sochi will become spectators of another 6 exhibits brought from a neighboring state. And the “Allusion to Antiquity” is available at the Art Museum until the end of the month.

Earlier, MK Sochi wrote about the exhibition of reproductions of masterpieces of world art made from waste. An unusual exposition is located in Krasnaya Polyana.
