On March 17, the capital of the Vologda region will host the opening of an exhibition entitled “Useless Memory”, which will be the result of the project “100 years have passed: have we changed?”. The exhibition will be housed in the “Maison du Marchand Samarin” museum.

Visitors to the exhibition will be able to get acquainted with the photographs and personal belongings of Liza Izmailova, on whose diary the project is based, as well as needlework and everyday life of girls of that time. Additionally, residents of Vologda will see a film comparing the lives of girls in the early 20th century and their contemporary peers.
