He drew particular attention to reports from France and Spain, where local authorities have begun to impose restrictions on water consumption.

Already, Italy’s largest river, the Po, has 60% less water than before. And in France, river traffic is difficult due to the low water level.

“We are happy that this year there has been no real winter and that fuel costs have not increased. We got away with it. But we will not get away with the fact that hell is slowly approaching us, ”emphasized the specialist.
