Experts have noted that most often malefactors are interested in South Korean cars. Thus, in the risk zone are the brands Genesis, Hyundai and Kia. In 2022, the Hyundai Palisade turned out to be the most popular model among criminals.

The insurance company said that every hundredth insured car was stolen. The top 5 included Genesis G70, Hyundai Sonata, Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sorento.

Experts added that they often choose cars that are in high demand among consumers. They take them apart and resell the parts.

More on the favorites list included Mercedes and Lexus.
