Yesterday, musician Klara Elías clarified in a message on her Facebook page that she would be the secret guest of the Einar Bárðarson concert, which will take place this evening in Zeeland in Garðabær.
As many know, Klara was one of four members of the group Nylon, which was founded in early 2004 when Einar’s company, Concert, held auditions for the girls of an Icelandic girl group. Three girls were chosen, Klara, Alma Guðmundsdóttir and Steinunn Þóra Camilla Sigurðardóttir, and Emilía Björg Óskarsdóttir was added to the group soon after. The force operated until 2008.
“psst.. don’t tell anyone, but I will be a top secret guest at this last concert of dear Einar Bardarson, with Gunna Óla SKíTAMóRALL and Magna Á móti sól, in their concert series across the country. The occasion is Einar’s 25th birthday, but I had the honor of performing much of his impressive collection of songs.
Anyone who likes to listen to non-electric music, likes country ball, Skítamóral, Á móti sól and NYLON – come and sing with us tomorrow in Zeeland. Look forward to!”
