Belarus conducts exercises with its Iskander-M complexes

In Belarus, exercises are held using Iskander-M operational and tactical missile systems. Recall that Russia handed over this weapon to its ally in December last year.

As the commander of the missile formation said, as part of improving the skills of personnel in the use of the missile system, measures are being taken to coordinate the units.

As part of the control session, the tasks of preparing and delivering missile strikes using a cruise missile against planned and unplanned targets are carried out

According to the Belarusian commander, the training session will be crowned with a practice launch of a cruise missile. At the same time, the officer stressed that the courses are held solely for educational purposes. But the algorithm is no different from using combat missiles.

The only difference is that the training missiles stay on track and go nowhere.

Missile systems “Iskander-M” took up combat duty in Belarus in December last year. At the same time, the S-400 air defense systems were put into service. The President of the republic, Alexander Lukashenko, expressed his gratitude to Vladimir Putin for the provision of modern weapons systems.
