the mayor addresses the problem of perfumes in Primorye

Help us breathe clean air! – such a call came to the editorial staff of the DEITA.RU news agency from the inhabitants of Bolshoy Kamen. All efforts to develop and improve the territories of the Far East come to nothing – the unbearable unpleasant smell from a large enterprise in the village of Novy Mir does not allow people to go outside. Even the mayor smelled the “perfume”. He promised to fix the problem.

In theory, the opening of new industries is a boon for any locality: new jobs and social facilities appear. In the village of Novy Mir, for example, after the opening of the Dobroflot plant, they also paid attention to social infrastructure – they began to build a new cultural center. However, a side effect of production – a terrible smell, or rather even a stench, does not allow people to get out. Walking has become simply impossible, local residents tell DEITA.RU, sending a video showing the state of Walton Bay – some stains are visible on the water, clots and shreds of a certain substance are visible . The author of the video believes that the bay is polluted. Evidenced by the unbearable smell that emerges from the coast.

“That’s how our sea has become, such a mud, it carries rotten wood, it’s Walton Bay. Behind the hill is the New World – it’s hard even to imagine what’s going on there. Came for a walk on Walton, walking here is just unbearable – such a stench,” says local resident Alexander Polyansky, the author of the video, behind the scenes.

Complaining about the disgusting, penetrating smell and other residents of the Big Stone.

“We are a city by the sea, but in fact we can’t even go to the sea”, underlines Andrey Balashov on the paradox.

“Terrible smell of Dobroflot on the street. May Day, how long is this all going to last? We don’t know where to turn for help,” says Andrey Roslyakov.

“Residents ask Deita.ru to publicize our problem. We cannot go out and walk with the children,” describe Mikhail Filimonov and Elnara Huseynova.

“Dear deita.ru, a hope is for you. Help us breathe clean air! wrote Andrey Martyushov.

“When Dobroflot stopped production this winter, we were able to breathe a little. Now it’s back in business, and we New Worlders can’t even open the window. So that you understand, there is a pungent smell of rotten fish, from which you cannot hide and hide, ”Notes Maxim Moon.

Local residents note that earlier special filters were installed at the enterprise, which, according to the idea, were supposed to protect against foul odors, but there are no real results – an unpleasant odor still poisons the air .

The residents’ patience ran out and they managed to reach the mayor during the live broadcast of Primorye State Television.

When will the smell stop? He is not only with us, but already in the old district of Bolshoy Kamen, and in Andreevo – he is everywhere! complained Andrey, a resident of the village of Novy Mir, to the mayor.

Big Stone leader Rustyam Abushaev said with regret that he was aware of the scent problem and experienced it personally when he came to the village gymnasium.

According to Rustyam Abushaev, a special commission will be organized in the near future to inspect the territory of the Dobroflot plant, and the problem that torments the townspeople will be solved.

“We’ve already beaten this problem once, so we have to dive into it again,” he said.

What measures will be taken and what results they will bring, only time will tell. IA DEITA.RU follows the developments.

It should be noted that Primorye Governor Oleg Kozhemyako recently visited Bolshoy Kamen and inspected the improvement of public spaces. This program is under his special control. According to the head of the region, people should have more opportunities for recreation, walks and sports. Residents, of course, are happy with the new opportunities, but so far they cannot take advantage of them, because the terrible smell simply does not allow them to go outside.

We add that the problem is not new and the previous mayor has already taken Dobroflot to court.
