After Finland joins the North Atlantic Alliance, the length of NATO’s border with Russia will immediately increase by 1,340 km, or more than double, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said during a meeting. a briefing with the Finnish and Swedish Defense Ministers.

  • Putin started to fight in Ukraine in order to have less NATO in Europe. However, everything turns out to be exactly the opposite. There will be more NATO in Europe, as evidenced by the fact that Finland and Sweden will become members of the alliance. And when Finland joins NATO, the border of the alliance with Russia will more than double – by 1,300 kilometers, – MK quotes the NATO chief.

Previously, the Hungarian parliament had taken the initiative to ban the further enlargement of the NATO alliance. This proposal was made by the representative of the Mi Hazánk party, Eled Novak.
