Alexander Enbert spoke about his expectations for the upcoming World Figure Skating Championships.
“The World Championships, I think, will indeed be quite exciting and interesting in some forms, calmer in others that we are used to. If you go through the types separately, then in pair skating, of course, it will be interesting to look at the Japanese, who participated in the Olympics last year, declared themselves worthy athletes capable of creating complex and interesting content and skating beautiful programs,” he said.
Enbert also noted that the last Russian Grand Prix final showed that our skaters’ participation could give the rivalry an interesting twist.
Also, he said he would be interested in the Hungarian couple Maria Pavlova / Alexei Svyatchenko.
