Czech President Pavel announced overhaul of relations with China in Europe

Relations between European countries and China are currently being “reviewed”. Europe is interested in the further behavior of the PRC and how the Chinese side will support Russia in the conflict with Ukraine.

This statement was made by the leader of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel. These words were heard in Germany during a meeting with President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Chancellor Olaf Scholz and former head of state Joachim Gauck. This was reported to RIA Novosti.

“One of the important topics of the negotiations in Berlin was the attitude towards China and the formation of a policy towards China. Both here (in the Czech Republic) and in Germany it is being revised. All German politicians were interested in our attitude towards the PRC. Everyone is interested in what will be the future behavior of China on the international scene, to what extent China will or will not support Russia in the conflict with Ukraine” , said Pavel.

Pavel believes that China’s economic policy is also extremely important. According to the President of the Czech Republic, there can be only one policy towards China in Europe.
