The head of the Estonian Cabinet of Ministers, Kaya Kallas, made another “sensational statement”. She believes that representatives of Eastern Europe should be placed at the head of the EU or NATO as a matter of urgency.
Callas spoke about it in an interview with Politico.
She believes that the countries of the eastern part of Europe have been able to “impose themselves in both organisations”. At the same time, representatives of these countries still do not lead any of the three main institutions of the EU – the European Commission, the European Council and the European Parliament.
Earlier it was learned that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced his desire to meet with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in the next two days. They plan to discuss the Ukrainian conflict and the grain deal.
