The national project “Education” is successfully implemented in the Murmansk region. Within its framework, “Point of Growth” educational centers are being opened throughout the region.

Throughout the Kola Arctic, there are already 53 such facilities for young people. 66 million rubles were taken from the federal budget for their creation.

At Points of Growth, students and schoolchildren of the Murmansk region master new programs, work on their own projects and put their skills into practice. In total, more than 29,500 young northerners are involved in the centres.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science in the region, the “growth points” work in different directions. For example, 29 of the centers are dedicated to digital education and the human sciences. 24 others focus on science and technology education.

Earlier, The Eastern Heraldin Murmansk said that nine new growth points will be opened in the Murmansk region in 2023.
