The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced that the quarter-final draw for the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup will be held on the fifth of next April.
Today, the African Union stated on its official website that the lottery ceremony will take place at the federation’s headquarters in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, and will be broadcast on the federation’s official platforms. Kaf added that the sixth (last) round of the group stage competitions for the Champions League and the Confederation Championships will take place next week.
Seven teams have officially decided their qualification for the quarter-finals of the African Champions League so far, namely: the Algerian youth of Belouizdad and JS Kabylie, the Moroccan Raja and Wydad, the Tunisian Esperance, the Tanzanian Simba, and the South African Sun Downs, while one confused card remains between the Egyptian Al-Ahly and the Sudanese Crescent, which will be decided. In the direct confrontation between the two teams scheduled / Saturday / for the account of the second group. In the Confederation Championship, 6 teams qualified for the quarter-finals, namely Marumo Gallants of South Africa, Rivers United of Nigeria, ASEC Mimosas of Ivory Coast, Royal Moroccan Army, Young Africans of Tanzania and Union of Monastir of Tunisia.
