Olympic champion Roman Kostomarov, who is undergoing treatment after several amputations, sent an audio message to his coach Alexander Zhulin. It is reported by “KP”.
“Two days ago I received a voicemail from Roman Kostomarov,” Zhulin said.
According to the coach, he was very surprised that Kostomarov got in touch.
“You can imagine what happened to me. I open it with shaking hands, I hear the voice of Roma,” admitted coach Kostomarov.
According to Zhulin, Kostomarov seemed completely normal to him, but still weakened by illness.
“Absolutely adequate – weak, yes – but absolutely adequate,” Zhulin stressed.
