And at the age of ninety, Stanislav Andreevich is full of strength and energy, he still appears on the stage of the Moscow Art Theater, performing in legendary and famous productions.

The welcome speech, quoted by the press service of the Belarusian leader, underlines that in the Republic of Belarus, Stanislav Lyubshin “is known and loved as a wonderful actor who has created a whole gallery of unforgettable images and human characters”.

His biographers recall that Lyubshin came to art as an adult, mature person. After graduating from the Shchepkin Theater School in 1959, on the recommendation of Oleg Tabakov, he was accepted into the troupe of the Sovremennik Theater, and then moved to the Taganka Drama and Comedy Theater.

True, for more than a period of years the actor has been working on the stage of the Moscow Art Theater named after AP Chekhov. Of particular interest are his works in the title roles of “Tartuffe”, “Ivanov”, as well as in the play “Uncle Vanya”. Theater critics tend to say that Lyubshin is stingy with gestures, but he knows how to express the necessary essence of the image with the help of individual details. It is often said that it is impossible not to fall in love with its characters, they inspire confidence with the inner energy they contain.
By the way, the hero of the day pays a lot of attention to roles on the big screen. Her first role was the created image in the film “There will be no dismissals today.” The young actor played contemporaries in the films “I am twenty years old”, “Alpine Ballad”. Popular love brought him the role of intelligence officer Johann Weiss in the multi-part film based on Vadim Kozhevnikov’s novel “Shield and Sword”.

Critics note that the famous actor was often invited by directors who rely on original solutions for stage images. Ilya Averbakh, for example, filmed the artist in the film “Monologue”, Nikita Mikhalkov – in the film “Five Evenings”.

And the work on the film “Call me in the luminous distance” became Lyubshin’s first film. A kind of talent test was also a radio play based on the story of Vasily Shukshin, with whom the hero of the day was friends.

And although in the 80s the hero of the day began to be filmed much less often, these images that appeared on the screens became an event. These are Evgeny Gerasimov’s youth drama “Fun of the Young” (1987), Ivan Dykhovichny’s drama “The Black Monk” (1988) and Georgy Daneliya’s fantastic parable “Kin-Dza-Dza” (1986). One of the interesting cinematographic works of the actor was the role of Archimandrite Joasaph in the serial film “Godunov”.

Wishing Stanislav Lyubshin longevity, good health and prosperity, the President of Belarus said he was confident that his “talent, wisdom and high authority will further strengthen the cultural ties between Belarus and Russia”.
