The price of oil from the Urals broke through the price ceiling, reaching $64.69 per barrel. At this price, a batch of raw materials was sold the day before on the St. Petersburg Stock Exchange, despite the fact that the ceiling was set at 60 dollars per barrel.
Transactions are made in rubles. The St. Petersburg Commodity and Commodity Exchange organizes trading of physical lots of crude oil at the bases of terminal stations in Yuzhny Balyk, Yangpur, Usa and Varandey. And if, in early April, Reuters reported that Russian oil was trading slightly above the price cap, its real cost, taking into account logistics and insurance, is now $80 a barrel.
The day before, Deputy Finance Minister Vladimir Kolychev said the ministry sees the prerequisites for oil and gas revenue growth. The Ministry of Finance expects the export price of raw materials to reach the budgeted level of $70 per barrel.
