Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, despite the incident at Wakayama Port, where there was a sound of explosion, arrived at the city’s station and held a public speech.

“I apologize for the anxiety and inconvenience caused by the incident,” said RIA Novosti quoting Kishida.

The Prime Minister of Japan also noted that the country is going through an important stage of local elections, and stressed the need for joint work by all parties concerned.
