A delegation from China visited Ivanovo

On April 22, Ivanovo was visited by a delegation from the Chinese People’s Society for Friendship with Foreigners, headed by the president of this organization, Lin Songtian. The delegation also included representatives of the Union of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Russia and employees of the Chinese Embassy, ​​reports the press service of the government of the Ivanovo region.

The region’s governor, Stanislav Voskresensky, met Lin Songtian at the Ivanovo Interdome named after Elena Stasova. This year, Interdom celebrates its 90th anniversary. In 1935, the children of Chinese communists were raised here: Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Liu Shaoqi, Ling Boqiu, Guo Liamo, Lin Biao, Zhang Mei and others, a total of 115 children aged 3 to 10.

Stanislav Voskresensky and Lin Songtian discussed possible joint projects in the economic, scientific and educational fields. The governor expressed the region’s interest in economic cooperation with Chinese enterprises, as well as cooperation with Chinese regions in the field of culture.

The Chinese delegation visited the Interdome Museum, which has preserved the personal effects of Mao Zedong’s children. The delegation also visited the ISUCT and the Center for Entrepreneurship Development and Export Support of the Ivanovo region.
