– Acharya Shankar Prakatotsav celebrated in MP – “Ekatm Parv”

Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the Acharya Shankar Prakatotsav, Ekatm Parv organized under the aegis of Acharya Shankaracharya Cultural Integration Trust and Culture Department of Madhya Pradesh Government at Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium in Bhopal on Tuesday evening.
Earlier, Swami Avdheshanand Giri Maharaj and Chief Minister Chouhan inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. The Chief Minister welcomed the saints on the stage. He honored Swamini Vimalanand Saraswati for his contribution to spirituality and culture and Dr. Kanshiram ji for his remarkable cultural contribution by giving him a certificate and a certificate.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that only one thing comes to mind after reading our Vedas and Upanishads that we all have the same consciousness. We are all one. Thousands of years ago our sages gave the message of “Vasudaiva Kutumbakam”. India has given the message of “live and let live”.
He said that Ekatmdham is being built in Omkareshwar. The whole world will get the message of unity from here. Omkareshwar is the initiation land of Acharya Shankar. Ekatm Yatra was organized in the state to install the statue of Adi Guru Shankaracharya. The work of taking the message of Advaita Vedanta to every village is being done.
India respected all religious beliefs
Swami Avdheshanand Giriji Maharaj said that in the world only the Self is worth knowing. India respected all the differences of opinion. Adi Shankara had visited India three times at the age of 32. There has been a contribution in preparing twelve and a half lakh monks in India. India and the world will see Advaiva Vedanta only through sannyasins. Appreciating Chief Minister Chouhan, he said that Chief Minister Chouhan has done the work that was to be done by the teachers and saints of India.
Chauhan took the initiative to advance the principles of Acharya Shankaracharya

The decision of the Madhya Pradesh government to install the statue of Adi Shankaracharya at Omkareshwar is commendable.

Madhya Pradesh Culture Department Principal Secretary Shiv Shekhar Shukla said that the work of construction of Acharya Shankar’s idol in Omkareshwar is going on at a fast pace. Acharya Shankar Prakatotsav is celebrated as a unity festival. Advaita Vedanta Jagran Shivir is being organized by the government. A short film focusing on Advaita Vedanta Jagran camp was shown in the programme. Around 100 campers were provided with initiation material at the convocation ceremony. Two campers Anant Seth and Snehil Lahoti shared their experiences and views.
