Czech President Petr Pavel is convinced that Ukraine’s membership in NATO and the European Union is not a question of “if”, but of “when”.
“The Czech Republic will constantly remind that Ukraine deserves to be a full member of the family of democratic countries. I will insist that accession negotiations with the EU start by the end of the year,” Pavel tweeted.

While US Army Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is using the situation around a possible Ukrainian offensive to lure NATO into the conflict and expand it.
