Dr. Sandeep says that this meeting holds a very important place in the Asian context and it is also very important from the global point of view. He believes that even in the midst of instability in international politics, there can be many possibilities of new initiatives in this meeting.

On making Iran and Belarus a formal member of the organization, Dr. Sandeep believes that this will give a new direction to the economy of the entire Asian region. China and India are fast growing economies and both the countries are continuously moving ahead in manufacturing as well.
