New Delhi/Port Moresby: Fiji’s Prime Minister Sitvini Rabuka on Monday conferred Fiji’s highest honor – ‘The Companion of the Order of Fiji (CF)’ on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The two Prime Ministers met and held bilateral talks on the sidelines of the 3rd FIPIC Summit in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Accepting the award, Prime Minister Modi expressed his thanks and said that it is an honor for the people of India and a recognition of the strong ties between the two countries. He said, “I am grateful to the people and government of Fiji for conferring on me the Companion of the Order of Fiji. I thank Prime Minister Rabuka for presenting the award. It is an honor for the people of India and a recognition of the strong ties between India and Fiji.”
