Chief Minister Shri Chouhan did virtual review of Ladli Bahna Yojana
Bhopal. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the state level program under Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana should be held with full dignity on June 10. On this day, an amount of one thousand rupees will be transferred to the sisters’ accounts with a single click. This is a life changing plan for the sisters. The scheme will be launched from Sanskardhani Jabalpur.
Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana late Saturday evening at Samatva Bhawan, his residence office. People’s representatives, divisional commissioners, collectors and other officers participated virtually.
The Chief Minister said that one crore 25 lakh six thousand 186 applications have been received under the scheme. Out of these, 26 thousand 959 applications have been found ineligible. Approval letters will be distributed till June 7, along with special gram sabhas will be held in the state on June 8.
He said that 30 percent acceptance letters have been distributed by the public representatives to the homes of the beloved sisters. The rest of the acceptance letters will be distributed soon. The state level program will be broadcast live from Jabalpur at 6 pm. He said that the entire state would watch the programme, the atmosphere would be full of enthusiasm. Deepotsav will be celebrated after the programme.
The Chief Minister said that dear sisters must light lamps in their homes on this day. He told that an amount of Rs 1209 crore 65 lakh would be withdrawn and deposited in the bank on June 5. Along with this, it was told that in the state level programme, the development works of the district will be dedicated and Bhoomi Pujan will also be done. Dance drama will be presented by Ladli sisters. The Chief Minister will be felicitated by the sisters. Cultural programs will be presented by distinguished artists. Pink cycle rally, painting competition, film, drama etc. will also be organized in the district for the promotion of the programme.
