Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani said that only male soldiers who had served in Short Service Commission (SSC) for 14 years in the army were getting the option of permanent commission, but women were not entitled to this. Similarly, for the first time in India, girls have got the right to enroll in military schools. All this has been possible with the faith of the country’s women power. He said that America has not yet transferred the technology of jet engine to anyone. But because of Prime Minister Modi, America has signed GE Aerospace agreement with India.
