Saarbrucken – Almost four weeks after the gradual tightening of measures in the fight against the spread of the coronavirus in Saarland began, the Saarland state government takes stock of the situation. Prime Minister Tobias Hans (CDU) and Minister of Economics Anke Rehlinger (SPD) will speak today about the effects of the measures taken so far in the corona pandemic. In March, public life had gradually been restricted in the fight against the further spread of the coronavirus across Saarland.
In mid-March schools and day-care centers were closed, incoming traffic from Luxembourg and France were strictly controlled, public facilities, restaurants, and hotels were closed. A comprehensive exit restriction has also applied since March 21.
