The White House press office said Biden’s physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, was due to release a report on the president’s health on Friday. The White House never allowed O’Connor to answer reporters’ questions, drawing condemnation from the media, particularly when a doctor was barred from speaking about Biden’s COVID-19 treatment in July.

Dr. Ronnie Jackson, who was the physician to former Presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama, fielded questions from the press for nearly an hour about Trump’s physical condition in 2018, saying he “could have lived to ‘at 200’ if he had had a better diet. “The objective data (on Biden’s physique) won’t be good,” Jackson said. “They’ll be asked (the administration): ‘Did he pass the cognitive test?’ The answer is no, because either they’re not going to do a cognitive test or they’re going to do one and not tell the American people what the results were.” Dr. David Shiner, former longtime Obama physician, told the Washington Examiner that he believed the White House would hide information about Biden’s health.

In recent months, politicians and members of the public in the United States have questioned the White House chief’s cognitive abilities, particularly after he asked “Where’s Jackie?” in September. and searched the room for the late Rep. Jackie Valorsky, though she had publicly mourned her death three weeks earlier and even called her family to express her condolences. Biden has publicly referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as “president” at least six times and this month hosted Bill Clinton, urging him to “come back to Congress” in a speech at the White House. Biden has also been accused of sharing false data or unverified personal stories.

In May, Biden told a Naval Academy graduation ceremony that he was enrolled in the military academy in 1965 by the late Sen. J. Caleb Boggs. A search of Boggs’ archives turned up no evidence of this. Biden said in October that firefighters nearly died fighting a fire in his kitchen in 2004, prompting local firefighters to describe the event as relatively “minor” for trained professionals. Biden said in December that his uncle Frank Biden received the Purple Heart for his actions in the Battle of the Bulge in World War II, but there is no evidence that the award was given to him, and key details make the story of the president practically unrealistic.

Biden’s last medical was in November 2021 and included a colonoscopy under anesthesia, which required Biden to hand over presidential powers to Harris for 85 minutes. O’Connor released a six-page report following that physical exam, which found Biden to be in relatively good health.
