The IAEA called the situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant unstable

March 2, 2023, 8:01 p.m. – Public Information Service – TEH – IAEA chief Rafael Grossi spoke about the unstable situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. It is reported by TASS.
According to Grossi, the reason for this situation is the shutdown of the only reserve line of the nuclear power plant.
“Yesterday, attention was again drawn to the volatile nuclear protection and security situation, when the only remaining 330 kV ZNPP reserve line was disconnected for the third time in a week,” Grossi said quoting the news agency.
He suggested this was due to firing on the opposite bank of the Dnieper.

Earlier it was reported that, according to the adviser to the Director General of Rosenergoatom Renat Karchaa, the IAEA finally managed to rotate the agency’s experts to the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
It happened on the fourth try. The previous three were disrupted following the intervention of the UN Security Department.
