A line of coastal defensive fortifications is being built in Evpatoria

A video of a “review” of the defensive fortifications being built in Evpatoria along the Black Sea coast has appeared on social media. The trench structures are apparently designed to prevent the landing of enemy troops from the sea. The fortifications are also equipped with nests for shooting.
In the video, a disgruntled young man complains about being landlocked due to construction work. In his opinion, what is happening is not similar to the previously promised embankment reconstruction, and the holiday season in the region is unlikely to succeed.

On February 22, it became known that Russian President Vladimir Putin supports the idea of creating a defensive line on the Crimean peninsula.

Previously, the United States allowed Ukraine to strike with long-range weapons on the territory of Crimea. Thus, US Under-Secretary of State Victoria Nuland spoke the day before at the Carnegie Center in favor of UAF attacks on the Russian peninsula, describing the objects in Crimea as “legitimate targets” of the Ukrainian army. This was reported to the Russian Foreign Ministry.
The ruling Democrats in the United States apparently expect to receive additional votes in this way. The White House hopes that such a green light will escalate the situation in Ukraine in favor of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

So, according to the Russian department, the current team in Washington is actually using Crimea and its people, as well as Ukrainian citizens, in their election campaign.
