“The use of the Mir payment system should have a positive effect on increasing the flow of Russian tourists,” said the head of the Russian diplomatic mission.
It should be noted that Mir system cards are now accepted by partner banks in Abkhazia, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, South Korea and South Ossetia.
Previously, it was planned to launch the Mir payment system in Cuba by the end of 2022.
