700,000 rubles lost Velikoluchka, trying to find a job

Several residents of the Pskov region fell victim to remote scammers. This was reported to MK in Pskov by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Pskov region.

A resident of Velikiye Luki became interested in the possibility of a remote job. She left an application on one of the sites, after which a stranger contacted her and offered her services. However, during the conversation, instead of helping, he convinced the gullible woman to get a loan and transfer money to a geo account. As a result, the victim lost 700,000 rubles.

Other residents of Pskov, Pechora and Sebezh were misled by fraudsters under the pretext of allegedly preventing attempts to gain unauthorized access to their personal account, as well as their accounts. Some scammers deceived locals when buying and selling goods. As a result, the townspeople lost more than 250,000 rubles. All the circumstances of the incident are clarified within the framework of the criminal proceedings initiated.
