Al-Muftah said at the beginning of the meeting, which was moderated by Dr. Aisha Jassim Al-Kuwari, Director General of the Forum, that at the beginning of his way of writing, he used to read in various fields, which enriched his knowledge and linguistic balance, and he accumulated knowledge and expanded his vision in various fields and made him able to play different roles, whether in Writing, directing, or acting, stressing that he tried as much as possible to rely on himself, but he did not dispense with the other opinion or the point of view of critics, as he used to present his texts to some specialists to correct them and strengthen some elements in them. He stressed the importance of rehearsals in the theatrical work, which is considered the stage of moving the text and completing the artistic vision, explaining the difference between the ancient and modern theatrical texts, as the old ones were closer to the conscience. At the end of the session, Al-Moftah mentioned that his career in playwriting went through several stages, the first in the nineties was dominated by enthusiasm and raised youth issues, the second stage presented more mature works that target larger segments of society.
