139 cars line up to cross the Kerch Strait on ferries. As reported in the telegram channel of the Kuban operational headquarters on March 5, over the past day, 259 vehicles with 321 passengers were transported to the opposite bank on 4 ferries.
Those waiting for the opportunity to travel to the Crimea are in the village of Ilyich, next to the passage. At the moment, only HGV drivers transporting only the highest priority categories of goods can use this route. A heating point and a dining room are organized on site. Volunteers are on duty in the parking lot.
Since the crossing was put into operation in October 2022, almost 97,000 passengers, about 76,000 trucks and 8,700 railway cars have crossed it.
