Yaroslavl region is named the leader of the Central Federal District in terms of the number of tourists

The assessment took into account the number of people who used the services of sanatorium and spa facilities.

Counted those who chose this or that recreation area, the portal “Sanatoria of Russia”, taking into account official Rosstat data for the last year.

The Yaroslavl region has the highest result: 66 people per thousand inhabitants took the opportunity to relax and improve their health. In second place are the inhabitants of Ivanovo (55 vacationers per thousand inhabitants), in third place is the Moscow region (45).

As for the rating in Russia, then, of course, such recognized vacation spots as the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, as well as the Republic of Crimea, are in the lead.
