Zakharova commented on Zelenskyy ‘s initiative to rename Russia to Muscovy

– Published on:

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the instruction of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensyy to study Russia’s change of name to Muscovy, reports IA DEITA.RU with reference to RIA FAN.

According to Ukrainian media, the Kiev regime is seriously considering this possibility. Zelenskyy also instructed local Prime Minister Denys Shmygal to “deeply settle” the name change issue. Maria Zakharova revealed the true nature of Kiev’s actions: “Bunker every day proves that we are right. Here is another proof of an attempt to create “anti-Russia” from Ukraine,” the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed on her Telegram channel. Boris Chernyshov, Deputy Speaker of the Duma of the State of the Russian Federation of the Liberal Democratic Party, previously called the petition to rename a “phase change.” He stressed that such statements by Kiev authorities should be treated with a smile.
