The former Iraqi prime minister reveals the fate of Saddam Hussein’s body and its burial place after his execution

Former Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi revealed the fate of the body of the late Iraqi President Saddam Hussein and its burial place.

Al-Kazemi said – in an interview with a newspaper "The Middle East" – They threw his body (the body of Saddam Hussein) between my house and the house of Mr. Nuri al-Maliki in the Green Zone after his execution.

He continued: "They brought it next to my house and the house of al-Maliki, but the latter ordered at night to hand it over to one of the sheikhs of the al-Nada clan (Saddam Hussein’s clan), so they received it from the Green Zone, and then it was buried in Tikrit.

He also indicated that after 2012 when ISIS took control of the area "The grave was exhumed, and the body was moved to a secret place that no one knows until now, and the graves of his children were tampered with.".
