CASS | Lev FedoseevA Finnish border guard interviewed Russian tourists crossing the border with Norway. According to the travelers, the girl arranged for them “a biased interrogation”, questioning them in detail about their plans.
It should be noted that the Norwegian border remained the only terrestrial option to enter the territory of the European Union for the Russians with a Schengen visa of category “C”. In most cases, travelers use this method to get to Finland. Amid high demand, the Finnish authorities have decided to send a border guard specialist to the border with Norway to check Russian citizens, the newspaper reports. TourDom.
One of the Russians who attempted to cross the border noted that she had been detained for over an hour. During the interrogation, the Finnish border guard demanded to answer questions about the girl’s travel itinerary, whether she had foreign currency and whether she had return tickets. However, she eventually managed to cross the border.
