The West should not have forced Kiev to negotiate with Moscow, but now is the time to think about what a peace process might look like. This statement was made by the former head of the Munich Security Conference, Wolfgang Ischinger.
“At this time, the West should be thinking about the peace process. In addition to the supply of weapons, it is necessary to offer perspectives to those who ask critical questions in the United States and Germany,” writes the DPA, referring to Ischinger.
URA.RU notes that, regardless of the statement, Ischinger does not recommend holding such meetings. He believes that it is currently impossible to require Ukraine to be ready to negotiate with Russia. The expert suggested “creating a mediation group”, which, if necessary, would play a key role in the negotiations. It should include representatives from Britain, Germany, the United States and France.
Earlier it became known that the latest “Breakthrough” tanks penetrated the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region. This was told by Russian military correspondents on the web.
