With the start of the activities of the 10th Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition tomorrow until March 19 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, the Doha Metro has made it clear how to reach the exhibition with ease.
According to a tweet on the account – Doha Metro and Lusail Tram on Twitter – individuals can use the Exhibition Center station (Exit 1) on the Red Line to reach the exhibition and learn about agricultural development and innovation.
Doha Metro noted: "We remind you that the doors of our stations close at 11:59 pm from Saturday to Wednesday and at 01:00 am on Thursdays and Fridays."
More than 675 exhibiting companies from the agricultural, food and animal production sectors are present at the exhibition, spread over an area of ​​29,000 square metres. More than 55 countries are participating in the exhibition, 30 of which are participating in official national pavilions, while the rest are participating through their companies, embassies and commercial offices in Doha. More than 10 entities from the private sector and government agencies are sponsoring the exhibition.
The Qatar Agricultural Exhibition hosts specialized exhibition areas, on top of which "veterinary products area" (VeteQ), and"Food industries area" (FoodteQ), which highlights the latest agricultural products, packaging and food processing machines, in addition to the vegetable market, which includes about 110 Qatari farms that offer the public their production of fresh vegetables and fruits, and the honey and dates market, which brings together elite producers of honey and dates.
This year, the exhibition will also witness the holding of daily cooking shows, in which some of the most important and famous chefs in Qatar participate in preparing a wide range of traditional Qatari dishes using local products.
