The TRAMP (transport aviation multifunctional platform) transport drone is about to complete ground tests, reports RIA Novosti. The first flight of the drone is scheduled for April 2023. The agency publishes images of prototype tests.

According to published data, on the outside, the drone is a classic aircraft drone with a high-positioned straight wing and a twin-fin V-tail. It can be used for military and civilian purposes.

The device is capable of transferring goods weighing up to 250 kg over a distance of more than 600 kilometers. The cruising speed of the vehicle is 195 km/h, the cruising ceiling is 3 km.

“A feature of the machine is a large cargo compartment with a volume of 2650 liters, which allows you to transfer and parachute bulky cargo to a given point,” the newspaper notes.

Previously, the Novosibirsk State Technical University developed ammunition for an underbarrel grenade launcher. Weapons will be able to attack drones using a network.
